The Recognized Bloggers Community!

Last 3 weeks of my life have been amazing! I got to interact with some really wonderful bloggers in the Blogging University. More than anything else, I value the friendship that I have established with these talented bloggers. It was truly an enriching experience and I am glad that it does not end, as we continue to interact in the Blogging 101: Alumni. The community continues to be as supportive as ever even in this newly formed forum.

Speaking of support, I have 4 amazing bloggers to thank for another award nomination. This time The Blogger Recognition Award. My heartfelt and sincerest gratitude to Carey Joy – Author of the blog Love at the Speed of Life, Josee – Author of For His Glory, the talented law student and Author of Words, Coffee and Lace Dresses and finally the very vibrant Anand – Author of Blabberwockying. I highly recommend you visit their blogs, you will not be disappointed.

bloggerrecognitionBefore I get to the rules of this award, I am supposed to provide a brief story of how my blog started or rather why I started blogging. Since my intentions for starting this blog has been descriptively detailed on my About page, I am not going to repeat that all over again. Instead, I will write what I hope to achieve with this blog.

I hope to be able to write freely about the topics that are close to my heart such as personal development, ideas for self-improvement, my take on women empowerment, gender equality and other social issues in our society. While I would like to focus on these topics I also want to explore my love for creative writing, which is why I have decided to have a page on my blog dedicated to ‘Inspirational Short Stories’. I hope to be able to write short stories that may inspire someone somewhere someday! The frequency of posts to the inspirations page? At this moment, I have no idea! I guess I will post as and when something inspiring hits me hard! 🙂

A Word of Advice….

A word of advice to all those who would like to blog….Just go ahead and do it, don’t hold yourself back! Write to your heart’s content. No one can stop you but you. And someday you will thank yourself for not stopping and deciding to blog! It will be the best decision you ever took 🙂

Now for the ‘Rules of This Award’:

  1. Select 15 other blogs you want to give the award to.
  2. You cannot nominate yourself or the person who has nominated you.
  3. Write a post to show your award.
  4. Give a brief story of how your blog started.
  5. Give a piece of advice or two to new bloggers.
  6. Thank whoever nominated you and provide a link to their blog.
  7. Attach the award badge to the post (right-click and save, then upload.)
  8. Comment on each blog and let them know you have nominated them.
  9. Provide a link to the award post you created.

I am going to deviate a bit from the rules of this award, and instead of nominating just 15 bloggers, I nominate all the bloggers from the Blogging 101 Community. You all deserve the award for the fantastic job each one of you do with your respective blogs. You know who you are, so please feel free to accept or decline this award as you deem fit.

I hope we continue to interact, support and inspire each other as we are now accustomed to! I will end this post with a quote by Charles Dickens

“No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another”

  1. Congrats! You are very deserving of this award! I’m so glad you’re so pleased in your life right now – not often enough do we remember to slow down and smell the roses set before us. Ah-mazing! I’ll be back!
