It has been a while since I have participated in any of the challenges in this blogosphere. Every time I see an interesting challenge, I think to myself that I should participate! That’s when my everlasting procrastination takes over and before I know it the challenge has passed, and new ones take over! And it becomes a vicious cycle!
However, today when I saw Cee’s post on the weekly photo challenge hosted by Nancy Merrill Photography, I knew I just had to contribute!
The prompt for this week is Sunshine…such a lovely prompt! The reason why this prompt attracted me so much is because the sun and sunshine hold many significances for me…you see, my name in the Sanskrit (an ancient Indian language) means Sunshine and my son’s name (which I chose to match with mine) means the Sun!
With that, I will go onto post some of my pictures for this prompt! If you did like to participate, head on over to Nancy’s website to read the prompt details and rules to post! Hope you enjoy my take….

Nothing more beautiful than the sun at dawn!

OK, maybe the twilight sun is competetion for dawn!

The source of my sunshine….my Son!

Reaching high up into the sky! The Kite Festival in DC!

Oh the beauty of watching sunrise from high up in the clouds!
What significance does sunshine have in your life, let me know in the comments!
These are some really kool pictures 🙌🏽

Lovely photos, especially the snow scene with your son. The sun and anything in the sky holds interest for me. The sun, moon, clouds, stars and the colours of the sky. I am looking forward to reading more of your posts.
Just to say, I looked up your blog after replying on Twitter to your tattoo tweet. I look forward to seeing the finished tattoo!

Thank you! I’m really happy to be back as well. I took the break coz it was getting too much for me to do everything together. Now that the studying bit is over, I can once again focus on my writing and blogging.

Stevie Wonder, who had not seen sunshine, but had the joy of feeling its warmth, wrote “You are the sunshine of my life”. Your feelings towards your son exactly!
